When working with project templates in Rocketlane, you might occasionally encounter the need to check which template is applied to a project or replace an incorrect template. Below are the steps to identify the template applied and manage template changes.

Overview

Rocketlane offers flexibility in managing project templates after projects are created. While you cannot directly switch templates, you can still import the correct one and delete the phases from the previous template. The following sections provide clear instructions to accomplish these tasks.

Steps to Identify the Applied Template

If you are unsure which template was applied to a project:

  1. Open the project in Rocketlane.

  2. Navigate to Project Settings.

  3. Select General Information.

  4. You will find details about the applied template here.

Steps to Replace an Incorrect Template

To resolve issues when the wrong template is used:

  1. Delete the current phases: Delete all phases in the project derived from the incorrect template.

  2. Import the desired template: Import the correct template into the project. This ensures the structure reflects the new template.

Note: This process is a workaround since templates cannot be directly swapped. Instead, they must be manually replaced by deleting and re-importing phases.
