Managing a project in Rocketlane
Teams often need one place to plan the work, track progress, and keep the customer informed. Each project brings these together in a set of tabs:
| Tab | What you use it for |
|---|---|
| Overview | Project status, dates, completion, task counts, project updates, project info, and hours. |
| Project plan | Phases, tasks, and milestones in the Board view, or as a Gantt chart in the Timeline view. |
| List / Board | Work with project tasks as a list, or as a board grouped by status, priority, due date, phase, or a single-select custom field. |
| Spaces | Documents and pages shared with the customer. |
| Chat | Conversations with your team and the customer. |
| Project updates | Write and share status updates. |
| Form responses | Review responses to forms added to the project. |
| All files | Files shared across the project. |
NoteSome tabs appear only when the related feature is turned on for your account and you have permission to view it. Financials appears when financials are turned on for your account and set up for the project, and can include Budgets, Tracked time, Expenses, Expense reports, and Invoices. If financials are not turned on, Tracked time appears as its own tab when timesheets are turned on. Resource management appears when you have access to resource planning or resource requests for the project, and Sheets appears when Sheets is turned on for your account.
