You can embed certain file types to spaces. This makes it is easier for you and your team to view files and documents that are related to the project without having to go to another platform.

How to Embed a File in Spaces?

  1. Go to the Spaces tab of your Project and add a file to any of the Private or Shared spaces.
  2. Click on embed URL.

  3. The 'View your files by adding a link from apps and services' dialog box mentions the list of supported links.

  4. You can add the URL to the file that needs to embedded.

  5. Click Embed.
  6. When embedding files, make sure:
    • Links are publicly shareable.
    • They are iFrame-compatible. You may need to confirm this with your file-sharing service.
    • For Dropbox, adjust the link by replacing dl=0 with raw=1 for embedding, but note that Rocketlane uses Iframely, which may unfurl certain URLs.
  7. You can now view your file from your Project's Spaces.
