Add credibility and rebrand your Rocketlane account by customising your Rocketlane account domain as well as your email domains.

Set up a Custom Domain to white-label the platform to suit your company’s brand.

For eg., your custom URL can be success.yourcompany.com, for easier access and brand identification.

By having your Email domain setup, you can make sure that any email sent from Rocketlane to your clients/users, will have your company’s domain in it.

For eg., Notifications can be sent from notifications@success.yourcompany.com, instead of using the default Rocketlane domain.

Setting up your Custom Domain

  1. Click on your profile icon from the bottom of the left Navigation Bar. Go to Settings.

  2. Go to Custom domain.

  3. The custom domain page displays the default domain url that is being currently used for your Rocketlane account.

  4. You can change the default domain to a customised domain. Add the domain you want your team to use for login and click on 'Setup URL'.

  5. As soon as you add the custom domain the CNAME Records table gets auto populated with data for the Key and Value columns.

Setup the CNAME’s in your DNS hosting provider.

  6. Click on 'Verify the CNAME record' button.

In case the CNAME verification fails kindly wait for a few hours and try again.

Setting up your Email Domain

The Email configuration page allows you to add your company's domain to send out email updates from Rocketlane.

By default, emails are sent using the current domain that you are using for your Rocketlane account but you can edit it too.

For eg: if your Rocketlane account domain is set to success.yourcompany.com, by default invitation emails will be sent from welcome@success.yourcompany.com and notifications will be sent from notifications@success.yourcompany.com.

In case you want to use your custom email addresses that contain your business' domain—for instance, user@yourdomain.com.

  1. Click on your profile icon from the bottom of the left Navigation bar. Go to Settings.

  2. Go to Email configuration.

  3. The Email configuration page allows you to add your company domain to send out email updates from Rocketlane. You can do so by configuring DKIM.

  4. Enter your custom domain and click Add.

  5. Setup the CNAME’s in your DNS hosting provider.

  6. Once you have copied the settings, click the Verify button to validate that the settings are active.

Configuring invitation and notification emails

Rocketlane sends across invitation and notification emails to your customers from your end.

For eg: if your Rocketlane account domain is set to success.yourcompany.com, by default invitation emails will be sent from welcome@success.yourcompany.com and notifications will be sent from notifications@success.yourcompany.com.

  1. You can edit the emails being used to send these too. To do so click on the 'Edit emails' button.

  2. You can change the emails from the 'Custom emails' dialog box.

  3. Click Save to save the changes you made.
