Raising a request for task approval

To raise an approval request

  • Go to the projects and select the project you're working on.

  • In either the project plan view or the list view, click on a task.

  • Inside the task, click on the three dots for more actions.

  • Click the "Request Approval" button.

  • In the approval pane, you can mark the approval as private or shared with customers.

  • Assign the approver who needs to approve the task.

  • Set the due date for when the task needs to be approved.

As the requester, you'll receive a notification of the approval or rejection.

If the request wasn't approved, you can follow the above steps to raise a new approval request.

After approval, you'll see the request marked as approved.

Approving a request

As the approver of a task/document approval you will be notified via in-app, email, or Slack and can either approve your request or request changes.

As an approver, you can open the request and approve or request for changes.

If you wish to request changes to the task, you can click the “change required” button and add your comments.

If the request is good to approve, you can go ahead and confirm approval

Raising a request for document approval

To request approval for a document:

  • Go to the projects and select your project.

  • Navigate to spaces and choose the document you want approval for.

  • In the toolbar at the top of the document, locate the approval button, and click it to raise an approval request.

Follow the steps outlined above for "Raising an approval request" to request approval and "Approving a request" to approve it."
